What is inside

• Covers (skin). Smooth plastic covers that protect the wires and motors inside, and keep fingers safe.
• Frame (bones). Strong, light aluminium bones that hold the robot up.
• Motors (muscles). Electric motors with gearboxes at every joint — they move the bones.
• Sensors (senses). Cameras for eyes, a balance sensor like your inner ear, and touch sensors in the feet and hands.
• Computer (brain). A powerful AI computer that understands what it sees and decides every movement.
• Battery & wires. A battery pack in the chest powers everything; a fan keeps the computer cool.
• Hands. Fingers pulled by tiny motors and tendons — gentle enough to hold an egg.
